Rev. Mark Anderson - Pastor

​Mark Anderson was born in Houston, TX, but grew up in Garland, TX. After graduating high school, he started working for Target, which he did until he left for the seminary in St. Louis. He had realized his calling was to be a pastor, and attended Dallas Christian College while working full-time. His first call was as an Associate Pastor at Trinity Lutheran in Sealy, TX, where he served from May 1996 - August 2008. He then went to Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in La Grange, TX where he served from March 2009 - May 2011. He then went to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church until October 2018. He accepted the call to serve at Grace Lutheran in November 2019.

Pastor Anderson has had other jobs in life: a sports writer and photographer, an editor for a newspaper, a bloger for the Rice Owls baseball team, and a photographer and writer for The Rice Webletter. He also has been a regular contributor to the LCMS for worship services and sermons. His passions are preaching, writing, and photography. Pastor Anderson has two girls, Jennifer (20) and Hannah (15).

Mike Ryan - Deacon

​​Mike Ryan grew up in Grantsburg, WI. He was the second oldest of seven children. He was raised on a country farm and was in Cub Scouts, 4-H, and played football, baseball, basketball, ran track, pole vaulted and wrestled in high school. 

The voters assembly of Grace Lutheran Church approved the position of deacon in May 2014 and Mike was selected to fill the office. In July the NW District LCMS approved Mike as licensed deacon for Word and Sacrament Ministry. On September 13, 2014 Pastor Schultz placed the deacon stole on Mike and commissioned him as a deacon at Grace Lutheran Church, where he has served since.
